A CLOSER LOOK ON MAUI’S HEALTH SYSTEM IN 2020

Kahului, Hawaii – The Maui Filipino Chamber of Commerce is holding its monthly business mixer on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 5:30 p.m.  The topic to be discussed will be on Maui’s only privately run hospital.  The event is open to the public and will be held, at Leis Family Class Act, located at the Paina building of U.H. Maui College at 310 Kaahumanu Avenue in Kahului.

The evening’s keynote speaker will be Mr. Jim Diegel who currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officers (CSO) for the Maui Health.  Mr. Diegel brings 40 years of experience in health care to his new role with over 30 years in senior executive roles in the international, rural, metropolitan and urban markets in Oregon, Washington, California, Washington DC, and the Marshall Islands. He lived and worked in the Philippines for 2.5 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the early 1980s; also a year in the Marshall Islands.  Jim brings a unique perspective to Maui and our island culture.
